Several of our guests rooms have our signature floating beds  which rock you into gentle deep sleep. 

Charming Guestrooms cuddle our guests and have beautiful views of Echo mountain. The sixty foot  covered porch is reminiscent of  our grandmother's lodge in the Adirondacks. The Porch has four floating beds which are wonderful for sleeping, reading and occasionally meaningful conversations with other interesting guests of the retreat.

This guest room has a King size bed which belonged to Ted Turner This room also has two twin beds- Perfect for you and your friends to share  a weekend at Birds Nest Retreat.

$100 per night plus 12% tax for two includes Bed and Luxurious Natural Food Breakfast with superfood smoothie plus the use of the Far Infrared Sauna in our therapy department. $30 per night for each additional person.

We have a two night minimum during October and November. Phone  706-745-8202 to reserve your room. To assure the complete tranquility of our guests on retreat we do not accept children under the age of 14. We do, for an additional fee,  occasionally accept dogs up to 20 lbs. 

Guests have open access to the Guest Kitchen. 

This kitchen is fully equipped for groups up to 20. We have a collection of juicers including a Norwalk, Champion and two Wheat grass juicers.  Please no red meat cooking. We will arrange for you to have the  highest quality gourmet natural food dinners or juices with prior arrangement.

People love walking and meditating in our Wedding Ring Labyrinth. This seven circuit 56 foot labyrinth was built by Dale for Shabari in celebration of their union.

Birds Nest Retreat is a seven bedroom Retreat Center and Bed & Breakfast  located on ten plus acres nestled in a 30+year organic community. Birds Nest is a retreat center serving those who are seeking rejuvenating rest, growth, creativity, transformation, continuing education & research.

Our guests often return several times a year to simply Relax. We accommodate our guests so beautifully that most choose to remain on the property during their entire stay. Our guests and friends are thrilled with the deer in the mists, with the multitude of native and medicinal lants and with the deep natural enviroment. In the evening they have  fun playing croquet and bocce, relish the delicious natural organic gourmet meals. All renew themselves in the Far Infrared Saunas and  are delighted with the  interesting and fun hosts.

We have chosen to have phone  and Television Free rooms. For a few days turn off your cell phone and forget the emails. Put your feet up with a good book on the restful 60 foot guest porch. In the morning mists you will see the deer grazing. In the evenings we sit by the fire pit on the deck by the pond, with the waterfall  spraying . We laugh while we observe the little  green  eyes of our favorite frogs: Gastone, Mimi, Pierre and the elusive Raoul.
